New Homeowners!

We now have been homeowners for 3 days! We are so anxious to get the house ready for us to move in! Our goal is to be moved in by the end of October. Yesterday we purchased paint for Anna-Kate's bedroom and our bedroom. I am just so excited to see how they turn out! We are almost done priming Anna-Kate's room, here's a little preview of what that looks like:

The darker spot in the middle of the wall is the actual wall color (I got a little anxious to see what it was going to look like on the wall) It's going to be hot pink! :) We are also going to have to paint the base molding and ceiling... that will be a cream color. It's going to be alot of work... but it's so worth it! I love being able to paint and work on something for Anna-Kate. I wish I had a picture of it, but today she and Kristen got to "help paint!" Derek gave them both an empty tray and one got a roller and the other got a paint brush... they were so cute putting their "paint" on the wall! Both the girls love to scream at the top of their lungs in the house because of the echo! It's so funny! I think Anna-Kate is going to love the new house and her new, very pink room!

Today Derek and his brother did alot of work outside too! They cleaned up all of the flower beds, mowed the yard and even started pressure washing the sidewalk and driveway! Here are a few more little sneaks at some of the things we're doing... I don't want to show everything until it's all done!

Here are my keys in the door!

We cleaned up the floors! The floor in Anna-Kate's room is beautiful!New outside lights!

We cannot wait to get more work done on the house! Look for updates!

On another note... how could I make a post without including some of my favorite recent pictures of Anna-Kate??!!

Getting ready for her bath!

Playing outside is one of her favorite things to do
