Grumpy Momma

Today was not the best way to start off my week! I did not sleep very well last night, so I was a little tired this morning and then the cold weather and rain just made me grumpy!

 I thought it would be better to talk about the highlights of my day, than to bore you with complaining. :)

Anna-Kate slept in until 8:15 this morning and Thomas slept until about 10! They both did go to bed late last night, but I'm thinking the rain helped them sleep longer. 

This morning Thomas had taken our dvd remote to his bedroom. I saw it there but was on my way out, so I just left it. After naps this afternoon Anna-Kate wanted to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I asked her to bring me the remote. I was cleaning and noticed that Thomas had wandered out of the room. I waited for a minute and then I saw him bringing me the dvd remote!! How cute is that? He's such a funny toddler! 

Last night when Thomas got fussy, I decided to try out the Moby wrap. It's been months since I have tried it but it always seems to do the trick with him. He just instantly calms down! Later, Anna-Kate wanted to be worn like Thomas too. She's actually just under the weight limit so I put her in it and she loved it! She said "I'm all cuddly. It feels like my daddy holding me!" Not sure why it felt like Daddy, but it was sweet! 

I talked to Derek tonight and I think that he is having a good time and doing very well. He is missing home, but he is working hard to meet people and make connections. His day goes from about 7:30-7:30, but tonight he was gone a little later and he has to start at 6:30 tomorrow. 

A couple of friends came over tonight for our Monday night Bachelor time. :) I'm so glad they were here and I'm excited that Emily won! I really thought she and Brad had a good connection, but I guess we will see what happens!

Thankfully tomorrow is a new day. Hopefully I will be able to sleep better tonight and it will be nice and sunny tomorrow!
