I am a 27 year old mom of two who is working to find the balance in my life. I am bubbly, talkative, stubborn and fun loving. I consider myself a shy extrovert. I love spending time with friends and family. I am passionate and sometimes intense with a little crazy mixed in. I have a degree in interior design. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two of the most amazing children! I enjoy cooking and baking, photography, and the idea of crafting (I'm not good at getting past all of the ideas...). I am a real girly girl who loves to be on the go. My blog is my happy place. I started it as a way to keep in touch with my family, but now it's a way of documenting our lives so that one day if things slow down, I will get to look back and remember these years that seem to fly by!
Derek is charismatic, opinionated and hard working. He loves politics, baseball and Seinfeld. He is a nerd at heart, although he will never admit it. He loves his family and is an amazing father. He spent 3 1/2 years driving an hour and a half, to preach every Sunday morning and night while he was finishing his undergraduate degree and getting his master's degree. After a very long, frustrating struggle to find a "career," he is training to be a financial advisor. Derek even finds time to make a post here and there! They are always fun to read.
Anna-Kate is our vivacious 6 year old! She was born high-maintenance and hasn't stopped! She is so full of life and energy. She inherited her daddy's chatter box and her momma's spiteful tendencies. We are always laughing at her off the wall comments. She is sweet and compassionate mixed with strong willed and opinionated. She loves all things girly... most days she wants to wear her "heels" and help in the kitchen. She is the best big sister anyone could ask for, always helping brother out and being patient while he tries to keep up. She is my precious baby girl.
