What I'm Loving Wednesday!

I'm linking up with Jamie at Little Daisy May again this week! You can too- just click on the picture!

I'm loving that we started this week with Valentine's day! Having a day dedicated to showing your love is such a positive way to start the week! We wound up having a last minute dinner with Derek's family before we went on our date. Derek and I went to Lowe's and got some seeds and a starter kit to grow some vegetables and herbs!

I'm loving my valentine! This was our 7th Valentine's day together! :)

I'm loving cookies and milk with my beautiful little girl and sweet baby boy!

I'm loving that it's Wednesday and we are well on our way to the weekend! I'm cooking up some ideas for next week's menu (ha- get it?) and I can't wait to share them!

I'm loving Orville Redenbacher's Kettle Korn! It's delicious- oh my! I have to admit that Derek and I have been eating a bag a night! Yikes!

What are you loving today?

Cute kiddos! Cookies and milk with the kids are always fun.

Time flies! I just had my 14th with my hubby. (I met him at 17.)

As for kettle corn...Mmmmmm. My sister gave me the best recipe and I haven't eaten the popped kind since.

It's on my blog. I'll put the link if you don't mind. It's my weakness. Seriously. I doubt you'll ever go back and it's so much cheaper, too!

Here's the crepe recipe you asked for...(the rest of my response to your comment is back at my blog). :)

CREPES
1 cup Bisquick
3/4 cup milk
2 eggs

Mix well. Pour approx. 2 Tbsp. batter into a 6 or 7 inch nonstick skillet; rotate skillet until batter covers bottom. Cook until golden brown. Gently loosen with spatula, flip and cook other side. Stack crepes as you remove them from skillet, placing wax paper between each one. (I cut/tear them into small pieces just a little larger than the crepe...uses less paper). Keep covered to prevent them from drying out. (I put them in my warming drawer to stay nice and hot.)

WHIPPED CREAM
1.5 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup sugar (I prefer powdered sugar - makes it smoother)

Beat whipping cream and sugar in chilled medium sized bowl with electric mixer on high speed until soft peaks form. (Beat too long and you've got butter! Careful. ;)

Now, spoon some whipping cream down the middle of your crepe and add some fruit. We like to mix sliced strawberries, blueberries and blackberries. Drizzle them with chocolate syrup or maple syrup if you're feeling extra naughty.

We eat these for breakfast, but they're technically listed as dessert. :)

Enjoy!
